slllliiiiiice
through the heavy
heady
black
ink darkness.
That which does try to envelop the world oh so tightly.
at this late midnight hour.
Fall.
great spinning photon wave lengths,
of blue, red, green.
Fall I do tell you, Fall
through these mixed eye irises and into
this wired on coffee brain.
I couldn't begin to explain.
I feel as though there's more pain.
I couldn't believe that a comma could mean so much
I guess that means I've lost touch
With
who I was,
who I'll be.
who
who
hoo
oooh
ohhh
no!
Screaming for water,
thirsts are like a bleeding limb in my throat.
Just like my Granddad lost his legs,
not from war
or from saving a man,
but from gluttony
and lack of self control,
I lost a part of myself
the very same way.
From not knowing when to stop
when to hold back
when to start
when to run.
and I'll make these mistakes time and again.
because that's what I am.
