Counting the days, one by one
Praying that I'd see the sun
Longing for the final death
Of your sickened, serpent breath
Any means vindicate the end
And in the wild, I had to fend
A jungle of glass, concrete, and steel
Now I don't know what to feel
All I know is I was dumb
And you had left me, cold and numb
But now there's someone new with me
Someone that fills my soul with glee
Whenever we speak, coal turns togold
I'll still love, even when we're gray and old
Angelous, you are the only one
And this is why I'm no longer numb
