Those who believe in Christ the Son,
Have the testimony in them;
They know victory has been won,
And that God will never condemn.
Those who do not believe in God,
Have made God into a liar;
For they consider Him a fraud,
And as well as being impure.
They have not believed testimony,
That God had given up His Son;
God as being just a phony,
A fairy tale that man had done.
But this is the account God gave,
In giving us eternal life;
Assuring rescue from the grave,
That requires coping with strife.
I wrote this to those who believe,
In the Son of God so they know;
Eternal life they will receive,
When it is time for us to go.
We are confident that God hears,
If we do ask for anything;
And willing to calm our fears,
When this life becomes frightening.
We know He listens to requests,
And knowing that we will obtain;
For in our lives He invests,
In what our future will gain.
If you see other believers,
Committing any type of sin;
Pray for them to be retrievers,
By confessing to cleanse within.
We know that those who have been born,
Will never continue sinning;
But temptation where we sojourn,
Will require disciplining.
