We were loitering outside 7-11, your face was in your hands
Your knees act as crutches against gravity's demands
Gravity always sits, it never stands
You spoke of an inward hate and several tears support your cause
You said I can't relate and that everything's your fault
And gravity teaches what can't be taught
I grab your ring and pinky finger and whisper an AED shock
In hopes to restart your heart and the shocks they never stop
But gravity tackles the highest of hops
You drug yourself away, fighting gravity in every step
While burning holes in your brain with all those things you said
Gravity always pulls even after we're dead
