We are the drifters. By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
We are drifters of the sun
We are drifters of the rain
We drift so quickly that our pack
Breaks intencesly.
We are drifters separated from youth,
Back then we were die hard blood sisters.
We did everything wrecklessly, instencesly and fun.
We hitch hiked mountains of eagle
We camped in endless forests
With traces of alcohol leaking in the night.
We hawled with the wolves one time,
We even companied them at night.
But we are only drifters
Not champions
Or even hero's.
We are just ordinary people
In this ordinary world
Trying to survive.
