Faithfulness is underrated...
It isn't glamorous or cool...
Not trendy or attention grabbing...
It, actually, avoids this rule.
It's not chased by paparazzi...
Not really cheered or recognized...
Not seen as extra ordinary...
Except when through our Father's eyes.
Our culture seems to love the famous...
The Superstars draw the applause.
But God is searching for a servant...
Someone committed to His Cause.
Nobody needs to be real perfect
And none of us have to perform.
Our God is really not expecting
For us to take the world by storm.
But He does expect us to be faithful...
For how else will His Kingdom come?
And shouldn't we be thrilled to live for
Such an awesome audience of One?
God's children are not on the clock...
We're not on any short term lease.
And there are days we're sure to stumble...
But our faithfulness should never cease.
A lifetime pattern is what
Our loving Father will consider...
"Well done my good and faithful servant"
Will not be heard by any quitter!
But, for all the times we do fall short,
There is forgiveness and there's Grace.
So let us be that faithful servant
Until we meet Him face to face.

~~Author's Note~~
In the words of my friend, Sandy,
faithfulness can be many things,
in many ways, but it is usually
personal, quiet, and there at all times.
~~Dedicated to Sandy~~
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast,
immovable, always abounding in the work
of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in
vain in the Lord.
Psalm 31:23
O love the LORD, all you His godly ones!
The LORD preserves the faithful And fully
recompenses the proud doer.
Matthew 25:21
"His master said to him, 'Well done, good
and faithful servant. You were faithful with a
few things, I will put you in charge of many things;
enter into the joy of your master.'
Luke 16:10-12
One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little
is also dishonest in much. If then you have not
been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will
entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not
been faithful in that which is another's, who will give
you that which is your own.
