weary but happy By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
It seems when I was little
playing marbles on floors
that my heart had a turtle
shell surrounding its beats.
The beats of my heart
had to surrender to this
turtle shell; I didn't know
it was not unconditional.
I got older, its shell knew
to shed just like snake skin
while it started bleeding
until it kept on breaking.
All pieces are so invisible
there's one for almost all
the days of my life; none
really cares except one.
This makes me want to
persevere even more not
to break my Lord's heart
by sinning in my LIFE.
I am so happy to know
that my savior's sacrifice
will give me a chance to
be totally fixed someday.
I know my Lord will do
a more complete job than
what I try to do everyday
may our meeting be soon.
