sometimes I pray By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I'm no religious,
pious,
god-fearing sort of a man.
But sometimes I pray.
And it shall be known,
that on this day
of little cloud,
and of little storms
that rage across blue oceans,
I pray you don't mean these things for me.
That you found another.
That you have thrown yourself
into the skin of some other
sweet lover.
Who has the thought, might, and strength
to treat you as you should be.
That doesn't sit
across an ocean sea,
and doesn't look anything like me.
and I wish you well.
