"Angel-less In Anaheim" By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Oh, dearest Love, I'm dead inside
What Fears are at my door?
For every time I quickly lied
I lied a little more
I'm trapped inside reality
I see you passing by
The way you love is not for me
I never wonder why
The heart I built was surely real
But once I ran away:
I trained myself to never feel
And, keep that heart at bay
I lost my mind in Anaheim
It's there, on Beach and Ball
I'm just another slave to time
I'm barely here at all
