I cannot express the sadness I feel
My broken heart only time can heal,
For Sheila left us for a better place
But in my heart she has left a space.
A light went out but a star was born
While we are left here to forever mourn,
Heaven gained an angel this very day
For Sheila got her wings and flew away.
A kind and loving nature were her traits
And her just rewards in heaven awaits,
The road was hard and ungiving at times
Yet she met the challenge of these climbs.
I think of you and on tears I choke
For I remember when we would have a joke,
We could cry with laughter you and I
But now it`s just sad tears that I cry.
Life will never be the same again
For your passing has caused us such pain,
You`ll be thought about each passing day
And in our hearts you will always stay.
Though we`re born knowing we have to die
It`s never easy to say goodbye,
So goodnight, God bless is all I will say
Rest in peace my friend while in God`s arms you lay.
