Where is there a wise man? And where is a scholar? Someone that has a plan, That can earn a dollar. A persuasive speaker, Who is from our time; One as a thrill seeker, Unable to do time. Has not God turned wisdom, In this world to nonsense; That had blocked His Kingdom, Also tore down the fence. The world with its knowledge, Never did recognize; The Lord to acknowledge, That His wisdom is wise. So God used some rubbish, That could be understood; Even by those foolish, Inclusion never could. We speak to who believe, The Word of the Good News; So all of you receive, Salvation if you choose. The Jews look for a sign, The Greeks seek for the wise; Some see the stars align, To see through the disguise. Our message offends, That Christ was crucified; As for some it intends, That the Gospel has lied. They believe not of strife, That someone would endure; And then brought back to life, To give the sinful cure. His nonsense is wiser, Than all human wisdom; To be an advisor, From up in His Kingdom.
