Wrapped In A Blanket While Watching The Stars In The Night Sky. By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
We were wrapped up in a blanket
watching the stars flicker into the night.
We had each other to hold on to
everything was just right.
When I look into your eyes, something lightens my mood.
It brings happiness to my life and a smile to my face.
Your love is constant, your love is sparkling on
and it's grabbing onto me, I feel the embrace.
I wonder how the stars survive knowing
that they're so far apart.
Do they know in our eyes
they're so close together.
They're meant for each other.
I wouldn't rather be anywhere else but here.
You're the light of my life, you take all of my fear.
This is how I would want it to be.
