AFTERNOON VISION

Glasses, lips, hands
Wifely demands
When independent
Life is short to spend lonely

Awaiting a man
Who's not hesitating
Wanting me
Setting free
His words
And charm
Not alarmed
When she breaks
For goodness sake

Forgive her
Get back to living her
Don't wait too long
To aide her feeling all along
She writes this song
In poetry
Where she belongs

To not be haunted
Unscathed, dreams rotten
Of being caged, fenced, detained
To call her crazy
While they were lazy

Don't want to live with me
I feel like I'm not good enough
Of course.
