Had dreams of a man from China
Who went to Istanbul
To end up in Utah
Trying to get back to China
He kissed me several times
In these dreams
That restarted
After I got up to use the bathroom
At five in the morning
Still in this dream
Being awake
I tremble
My mind is confused
My body is still asleep
Will the coffee and coke
Wake me up
So I'm in the Northwest again
Or will I live in the soft kisses
Of one so kind
For more time?
I write this poem
To awaken
To my reality.
