I Know They Want The Same

I know They Want The Same              November 20, 2015

I think about my heroes I cry alone at night
Killed for being Irish, we had to join the fight
No Job, no future, they came they took my land
Kill our young men, remember Bobby Sands
I cry alone with resistance, civil rights will come some day
Planters are in power, change is on the way
I want my country free, walk beside me, you and me
Walk free in my land, it's coming, wait and see
The walls are gone, join me, the Shankhill and the Falls
Meet me as a friend, we can share Derry's walls
can we tell our children they're going to meet a friend
No colors to share, just a friend until the end
I wonder about my neighbor, I know they feels the same
They're Irish just like me, I know they want's the same
My dream always ends without the wall at the end
I feel so happy with no tears in my eyes, this message I send
Walk together with love, free our children, make them free
Love the children of this country, freedom for them and me
I think about my heroes and cry alone at night
Killed for being Irish, we had to join the fight
