lost and then found

weary tired and worn

I'm tired weary and worn
My heart broke but this time it cant heal
For if it mends to soon ill harden my heart
Cold and weary I'm tired and worn
She took my soul and laughs about killing me
And if I die awake and hurt by her mercy
The wind was hard it crashed forward
with pieces of dabree hanging 300 ft in the air
And Hail so hard it bruised my head and shoulders
She made me walk in the middle of winter
Hypothermia close it almost took my limbs
But I'm tired she told me forefathers
Walked it many times
And sang songs read poetry
And made love under the stars
they grew sheep and goats
Cows and pigs
Hay and alfalfa and dreamed about the future together
They made tracks so we could have a train
And put in roads so we could Drive
They built dams so we could have fish and power
And they developed science and religion
They prayed and built  Bombs that destroy our world
And never think you are the one who is seen and heard

Think you are the one that dreams are made of they will believe
