'' They Are Truly From An Alien Race ''

We're being driven mad,
Yes being had,
We can no longer suffer the pain,
How can our suffering make others glad,
We're being slowly driven insane.

They are all around,
Yet can never be found,
Especially when we're feeling frisky,
They then disappear deep underground,
Then wonder why we like beer and whisky.

Constant moaning,
Should lead to stoning,
But they never hear our plight,
From dawn till dusk they're forever groaning,
No I don't mean with delight.

At the end of our tether,
Wake us with a feather,
We're in a state of total decline,
Their moods do change like the British weather,
Just now it seems everything's fine.

They are over the moon,
Then drop a spoon,
Ceramic, the poor thing then shatters,
The problem with us is we speak too soon,
Blaming us now is all that matters.

As we try to console,
Appease and cajole,
Their reactions we just don't understand,
While we remain calm they lose control,
Don't dare disobey a command.

Though we love you dearly,
I would say clearly,
As one we were not meant to be,
Maybe if we met perhaps once yearly,
There wouldn't be such a melee.

Why men die young,
Is a song that's sung,
The answer is there in our face,
Why did the lord ever give them a tongue?
