Rolling thunder
Crashes down upon my soul
And the lightning follows after
For the shock of love is going to glow
Like a burning sensation
Heartbreak took its evil tole
And it stopped my heart from beating
And revived now here I go
Sweet surrender follow me
I'm as worthless as can be
For the love has grown to complacency
Worth the stations of your happiness
My life is torn in two
Because your shape inters my mind
reckless feeling they come through
ghastly thoughts of what we do
For we conquer our fears
But in reality its rigged against us
free the bird they call the dove
strengthen spirit from my soul
ask forgiveness I still care
and my one track mind keeps going there
Restless heart we have in binding thought
wasted memories they stare at us
And say why not
hopefully you will reside inside my heart forever
But that's the consciences of this sweet surrender
Was a thought that I still have
No matter how the years go bye I see the one you were
When we were young I could just stare
For the glare of starlight whisked across your hair
And I'm feeling kind of low
What just happened the shinning glow
Like the lightning I light up
When your there my time is endless
Stare at the clock its time to go

I am late but I don't care

But the distant thought as I see you again just fades away
roasted coffee and cream I drink
And bacon Hash browns toast and gravy
As the morning seemed so full
we shared for hours the calls of lovers
They were loud and nestled neighbors
Some were calling asking if we were alright
We laughed all night
But to my delight it started over
and this keeps going on
Back and forth we go until decision's are made
And we always think were done
The fate of his hands brought us back together
