The Good News has made His people, Enemies because of Him; But by choosing the Gospel, They no longer have felt grim. God never changes His mind, When He is giving a gift; Showing that He is so kind, Heartfelt love that will uplift. In the past you disobeyed, Going off the beaten path; But even though you have strayed, He has spared you from His wrath. God is being merciful, Of your disobedience; Because you are beautiful, Tolerating with His patience. All of you have disobeyed, But God is gracious to you; When anything is conveyed, It will be Christ you go through. The riches of God are vast, Wisdom and knowledge are deep; Since God knows all of your past, And the dreams thought in your sleep. It is impossible to, Explain any decisions; Or be able to construe, Understanding His visions. Who would know how the Lord thinks, Who would be His advisor; Nothing that anyone drinks, Could make them any wiser. Who would ever give the Lord, Things expecting in return; Or just having be ignored, Or paid back ten-fold to earn. C Copyright © 2015 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
