Mom Always Made It a Happy Time for Christmas

Moms everywhere know how to put a spark of hope; in the eyes of a child.
With a genuine smile and a heart to match it is an easy thing to do.
My mother that Jesus blessed me and picked out was always top notch.
Christmastime would come allowing Mom to give of herself to us that brought about joy and happiness for many days.
I am able to remember so well my dad would place my toys; in Mom's chair while he'd place my brother's toys; in his.
Mom some years later would save all year for Christmas and we had all we could ever want.
It was something most wonderful for Mom and Dad did this together.
There was always love from my parents toward the other and to us their children.
Christmas meant Jesus' birthday for us to celebrate and Santa was never considered.
I am most proud of Mom for all she did to make our home the continuity it was.
Christmas time found Mom shelling pecans for so many people.
It was something Mom wished to do to help which she did.
Never again will she do this on earth for her days are done.
Christmas, for me, will be something lasting and wonderful because of Mom.
