Petes Poetry

Where am I?

I remember when I was young so blind to evil.
such a bright outlook, so strong, not weak nor feeble.

now I see the world, a place full of traps.
The temptations a need, like some whore begging for crack.

breath in breath out each one a need.
so many pros and cons, just struggling, this mouth to feed.

so blinded by the light, so long caught on the dark side.
black or white, so blue no where to hide.

Peter Riddoch.
