I ASK YOU THIS - WHO WAS RIGHT AND WHO WAS WRONG?

Photobucket

Tell me who was right and who was wrong?
Was it right to defend lives & freedom?
Was it wrong to stop that evil violence?

When the victims were innocent civilians
Should we have just turn a blind eye to it?
Should we have let them kill more victims?

When they were women, children and the old
Should we have refused to become involved?
Shouldn't we have tried to save their lives?

These are the questions I have asked myself
For decades now those days have haunted me
That our own citizens had turned against us

That they thought we were the real problem
Because we went and we tried to save lives
We defended Vietnam's citizens & freedom

So this time I'll pose this question to you
Who was right and who was wrong in Vietnam?
Wouldn't you want to be saved if it was you?

If you were the victims of an aggressor force
Would you say don't help us it's not right
Someone just may think that we were wrong

Or wouldn't you want us to come defend you too?
Wouldn't you want us to stop a violent takeover?
Or would you and your family want to be victims?
