The largest Lake used to be Lake Washington
It's raining its pouring
The old man no longer exploring
Winter windstorms no longer ignoring
Trees are falling down
Power poles laying on the ground
The lights went out no longer counting sheep
The wind so loud I could hardly sleep
Xmas decorations in the neighbors yard
Walking in the dark is really hard
Slip and slide falling in a puddle
Not a place this old man wants to muddle
Just find extra blanket and cuddle
Some day the sun well come again
It's just all this rain don't know when
Oh and this new lake called Seattle
To get around no cars need a boat and paddle
That's not Santa Claus the winds upstairs the roof does rattle
And without lights was that a rat or a shadow?
Someone has to find dry grass to feed the cattle
Not me I'm going back to bed til Spring
Wading around in high tides is not my thing
It's raining its pouring this old man is snoring
Sure does keep my life a lot less than boring
