Stay away! Do not touch me, I am holier than you; God gave the insight to see, Giving a heavenly view. You have become like a smoke, Like a smoldering fire; Burning words each time you spoke, Of your carnal desire. As written in front of me, I will not ever be still; Quiet about what I see, Holding back just makes me ill. But I will repay you though, I will repay you in full; Payback all for what is due, Because you are such a fool. I will repay for your sin, For the sin of your father; You inherited within, That causes you to falter. They burnt incense on mountains. Slandered your God on the hills; With orgies in the fountains, Hallucinate with their pills. When you find juice for new wine, Within a cluster of grapes; Getting drunk while you dine, Talking of coming from apes. But you should never destroy, Because there is a blessing; The servants that you employ, Will stop any transgressing. My chosen ones inherit, As the servants will live there; While the Holy Spirit, Will comfort them as they share. C Copyright © 2015 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
