The Confections Lyle Made Were Superb Always

I devote this piece to describe to  you the confections Lyle made.
There were peanut butter cookies as well as chocolate chip.
Sugar cookies  also were available for us to partake.
There was some candy he made that tasted super delicious.
Lyle knew how to prepare the foods he cooked.
I am most glad to say I knew him and loved him then and now.
Though he is gone from the earth by God's design, he isn't far from my heart.
For he is very much a part of it and will be for all time.
Jesus allows this to be true for me and through Him I have peace.
Serenity is also a part of my life with Lyle being a part.
There are countless memories of him when I called and spoke to him.
He'd tell me he loved me which made my heart so very warm.
I look; with joy, to see  him again and to talk with him,
I hope; as the Lord wills, for me to see him;  let him know I love him.
There is peace from God to His children.
We have the peace that isn't ephemeral but constant.
Praise the Lord for His blessings and gifts.
