Another sweet son gone
For being brilliant
Smarter than the average bear
Boo Boo
Got you
The intense fear
Of the eye
Pointing an accusing finger
As though a skeleton
In a haunted house
Oh Two Thirteen
Like Halloween
God winked
That fixed
You up to
Be so clever
Law brought the cleaver
You had to leave here
As other boys I've known
You left us here all alone
Without the you
The only you
A wink created
Left this Earth
Thought you were hated
For giving mirth
To this new world
Of electronic signals
That feed our minds
Until the hero's
Are no longer us
Are no longer all about
In God we trust
When there is injustice
Some want to cry
That is difficult
To do for a guy
With a mind like
A zillion microchips
Stimulated at once
Poking where ever
Not being a dunce
Too smart for his britches
Hung out to burn like the Salem witches
Of two centuries past
If a person's too smart
The world gives a blast
Of it's law and it's fines
Deeming what was said in old times
By the old ones
In rhyme
Protect yourself
"Fart Proudly"
If you don't speak
And speak loudly
No one will hear you
There crying all alone
When it's down to the wire
You've planned no
One to phone
In that moment
It's all over
Can't bring you
Back computer lover
Who loved and lost
Always a cost
There is no sweet
Without the sour
Moment after moment hour after hour...
