 JEWELS AND CANDY
Maybe you love me
As you love your sister
Mister
Since we both have to take pills
To survive
Aren't you glad we're alive?
So perfect in form
A man
We're just women
We don't understand
How not to cry
Like you guy
Forgive us for the antidepressants
Forgive us for the pills
We have to live with the ills
That society bestowed upon us
We love you for the trust
You give in talking
It keeps us walking
When maybe we just want to lay down and die
Forgive us when we cry
As we will cry to you
Someone stronger
And in that
We will live longer
No suicide
No hell-bound ride
To the devil's lair
Because for both of us you care
Just understand
We are women
You are man.
