Since Christ suffered physically,
Take the same attitude He had;
To tolerate literally,
No matter how much it feels bad.
A person that maybe suffers,
Will not be sinning anymore;
Because your soul having buffers,
While it has secured the door.
No longer will you be guided,
By sinful human desires;
As long as He is abided,
His Word is dousing the fires.
You will live the rest of your life,
The way that God desires you;
Though irritations cause you strife,
Tolerate to continue through.
You spent long enough in the past,
The way that nonbelievers do;
But you have a hope to outlast,
That you know being very true.
You were very promiscuous,
About desires filled with lust;
Women who were voluptuous,
You had sex and had put your trust.
Unbelievers insult you now,
Because you no longer join them;
And they cannot understand how,
You changed and started to condemn.
They will be giving an account,
To one who is ready to judge;
Verdicts will be in the amount,
From one who does not hold a grudge.
So always practice self control,
Keep a clear mind so you can pray;
Love each other with heart and soul,
For love covers sin when you obey.
