I Once Was Blind But Now I See
On Heavenly Wings
Today marks three years since the passing of my brother and friend, Lyle B..
The Lord had required his soul and Lyle had to depart planet earth.
Through the veil of tears shed for him there is a comforting thought.
It was on heavenly wings he took his flight.
Leaving this planet of human beings he landed where Jesus lives.
Happy to have reached his final home Lyle lives today with the knowledge he will see Ronnie again.
They will converse a while and then Lyle will show Ronnie all over Heaven.
Lyle will inform Ronnie that he, too, would be on heavenly wings when it was his time to leave.
Lyle would tell Ronnie to not fear the inevitable but to embrace it.
Knowing as he took his flight three years ago today Ronnie will likewise do the same.
The joy that Ronnie feels from having seen Lyle again is great and wonderful.
The trip on heavenly wings is reserved for Ronnie to someday be upon.
joy will complete the triangle of Ronnie and Lyle plus myself for all time.
Here at Heaven is certainly a trip to be planned and executed by God's own hand.
On Heavenly wings will Ronnie ever abide as he soars through space to reach his home.

This is hoped to lighten the burden you are carrying this morning for your loved one.
I know it isn't easy but with God all things are possible.
He promised to be the person for us that we have lost.
So, you can attest to the fact the Lord will be the one you loved so much.
May this analogy make you happy to know Lyle did take a trip on Heavenly wings.
