Let Peace Begin With Me But Rests Only in Jesus

There is a beautiful song I once sang as a high school student.
It is called ‘Let There Be Peace On Earth'.
This is a song that gets to the heart as you sing it or hear it.
It has to begin with us personally but rests only; in Jesus.
For there is no other place worthy enough for it to originate.
You must experience the peace Jesus gives for it to be real.
No one can imagine it when the real thing is attainable.
Look before you leap and be prudent as well as wise to do the right things.
Make your own strides to Jesus and claim Him as your All in all.
Seek to do the Lord right with all you do.
Praise the Lord with an incessant attitude for it is only right.
Let peace begin with me but rests only in Jesus is sound advice.
For it is the thing that really works as you make provisions to accept His great peace.
