The Tribal Maiden and the White Wolf

She steps out of the teepee into the night.
Caution is a key factor with what she does next.
For up ahead is the white wolf lingering within the wooded area.
Freedom is the wolf's delight as he roams without a care.
Long and deliberate strokes of the clock is heard.
The moments seem to fly for they are so fleeting.
Look on as the maiden gets close to the white wolf.
As she sees him, her heart is pounding with excitement.
Happiness is hers to feel as the white wolf looks at her.
In slow motion, the wolf walks towards the maiden.
Without fear, the maiden rubs the wolf as he lays at her feet.
Then a metamorphosis takes place.
The white wolf isn't a wolf now for he has changed.
A warrior is now standing in front of the maiden.
As the sun peaks over the mountain the two walk hand in hand.
