I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Do Your Best to Emulate Jesus Our Lord
Before we can emulate someone we must know what the word means.
My connotation is trying to be someone with their likes and dislikes and such.
The denotation from the dictionary means try to equal somebody or something.
Jesus is our Perfect Example for He never sinned nor will He.
He is the One of Whom we should emulate as closely as we know how.
Being Jesus is perfect and always will be we will fail at trying to fully emulate Jesus.
Jesus expects us to follow Him with doing what we should be doing which is winning others to Jesus.
This is a perfect way to emulate the Savior.
May we not distant ourselves from trying to emulate Him but come close to being as He'd like us to be.
Knowing as we try to emulate Him on earth we will reach our goal when we are; in Heaven.
So be prepared to do your best to emulate the Savior as closely as you are able.
