My heart is rocking in my chest
As everything that was the best
Breaks up so fast
I hear shattering, splintering glass
Leaving me with lonely tears
No-one left to still my fears
All those I love have moved along
And left me back here all alone
Some in heaven high above
Some on earth who I still love
All of them have left me now
I must find a way somehow
To want to live and make a plan
To do the very best I can
For if I don`t I know the pain
Will eat me up, the pouring rain
Will drown me in this deepest sorrow

When you have your health and strength
You can go to any length

In spite of all of sorrows tears
But when your health is really low
You don`t know just where to go

Stay in dreams where I can keep
My dignity, and feel so strong
Needing no-one, full of song
As once I was when I was well
But you know the truth to tell
Life is precious every minute
I just want to live what`s in it
So powers that be help me to deal
With all this pain that is so real
Give me hope, I`m getting old
Make these last years solid gold
Help me be fit for the task
So I never have to ask
