I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Lyle Remains To Be Special Within My Heart
Lyle remains to be most special within my heart for all time.
He saw the mess I was in before we became brothers.
Never tried to change me for he left that up to myself to change myself.
He is one person that is strong and firm to be a friend and brother.
I cherish him for having loved me as he has and telling me he loved me.
I needed to hear those words for I was made to feel I was a non-entity.
It was a sad situation I was when we met.
I was reaching out to anyone I could to love me for myself.
Meaning what?
I didn't love myself and wanted other people to love me.
Lyle taught me differently and helped me to get over all the insecurities.
I am in a better state of mind today because of Lyle and his love.
I am free to make my way and make my own mistakes to learn from them.
