I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Look To God and Never To Yourself
Look to God and never to yourself to do the things we must.
For looking to ourselves is vanity; in its highest form.
We need to be abased and humble so God will be able to use us.
Let it be said of us that we as a people served God well.
We didn't look to ourselves for the best but we looked to God only.
May we be adamant and stern to serve the Lord and forget about ourselves for a time.
Jesus will reward those who think mainly of Jesus instead of themselves.
To be thinking of yourself is a bit of piety which is wrong from the get-go.
Be strong and determined to serve the Lord first then all else later.
Leave yourself for last of course instead of putting yourself first.
Look to God and never to yourself for it is a sin to do so.
Piety is the what Lucifer had to send him to hell.
Piety will do the same thing to us if we are not careful.
Be one that is relying on the Lord to get us through the day.
For as we look to God and not to ourselves it will be the best thing we can do.
