How Harmonious Are the Birds That Sing

From the steeple of the church are the birds that have congregated.
They have a song within their hearts they are going to sing to their Creator.
Off', in the distance, are the bells one hears from the steeple.
The birds that are assembled together hush their song as the bells play their song.
Jesus is listening to the bells  being played and as a young boy begins to sing.
That little boy is myself when I was a youngster.
I wanted to hear the bells forever play the song I knew so well.
They commenced to playing the song as I sang in time.
The birds that had assembled at the other church downtown waited for us to end our song.
It was a time I will never forget in hearing the song that blessed me so well.
What was the song; you ask
It is “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”
Hearing this song gave me courage to face another day.
The birds were pleased to give audience to our song but they had their song as well.
The birds began to sing and the whole world it seemed heard them.
