The Lord has rescued us,
From the might of darkness;
Yet we still raise a fuss,
As if still in distress.
His Son has paid the price,
You should appreciate;
Let Satan not entice,
With any sinful bait.
All sins are forgiven,
Which is our ticket;
For going to Heaven,
Since Christ has paid the debt.
He is the same image,
Of the transparent God;
Firstborn of creation,
That is pure and not flawed.
He created all things,
In Heaven and on earth;
All of which each day brings,
And beings that brought birth.
Whether as kings or lord,
Rulers having power;
It cannot be ignored,
He controls each hour.
He existed prior,
To all that we have known;
Some call me a liar,
Even if proof is shown.
He is head of the church,
Also as His body;
With answers that you search,
As righteous and godly.
First to come back to life,
And given up for loss;
Enduring all the strife,
Before hung on the cross.
We must be thanking God,
For revealing to you;
As we honor and laud,
All that is tried and true.
