Mom Was No One's Fool Ever

Mom had a way about herself for taking care of herself.
She would never allow herself to be anyone's fool.
Mom was most intelligent and alert as to what was going on.
Mom never played any games with our minds but always spoke the truth.
Mom abhorred a lie for she never told one and didn't subscribe to starting.
I am so happy I had the mom I had for my years of maturing and even now.
I call Mom Blessed for the Scriptures said I would.
There is much to Mom that is all good and special.
I am most glad the Lord allowed Mom to rear me when she did.
Today's children doesn't know what it means to have a spanking.
They have been cheated as to their ability to mature.
Mom would do the correcting in the family.
So, I would know who it was that I had to answer.
Dad was a good provider for he did well in providing for his family.
Mom was the disciplinarian.
I thank you, Mom, for the times you chastised me.
I thank you for not allowing me to run all over you and Dad.
Most grateful to you for my upbringing and my education.
