When I write I pray
it helps me to find my way
my words that I share in my poem
is the prayers, in words, from my heart, and mind, to god shown
when when I begin to write, the good, bad and ugly, that I feel
i feel the love, care, and closeness, of God, our father to real
sometimes, when I begin to write, I feel so hopeless, so lost and alone
but by the end of my poem, the love and warmth, of my god, is well known
