Mom Resigned Herself to Always Listen to God

There is no secret about Mom at all.
Mom listened to God as He spoke to her.
There was no quibbling or harsh feelings for Mom to feel at all.
It was totally love on her part that made the difference.
Meaning?
Mom was resigned to always listen to God.
As it came time for me  to be with Mom; in the living room, Mom would  close her eyes and pray.
Not only did she close her eyes she put her hand over them.
Mom knew she was talking to God  through Jesus and paid Him the reverence that was due Him.
Mom inspired me of course to have a time of prayer myself.
It was a hurtful time when Mom had passed away.
I had really thought it was a trick to get me to be better by pretending Mom had died.
But the truth is Mom did pass away.
Mom listened to God with all the attentiveness she could muster.
I am most proud of Mom for having the humility she had when talking to God.
I praise the Lord for a mom that was always true to me and never lied.
