lost and then found

Thank you For The Memories

Thank you
For the memories
They take me back
To the time where we were free
I set and wonder
If they knew what it was like
They would set and watch instead of fight
I'm not talking about fist and foot
I'm talking about words on paper changing rules
Thank you for the memories
They took me back for a moment
To the times where we were young
I don't wonder anymore
If they no what it was like
They buried there heads in the sand
And given our nation away
Thank you for the memories
The cedar trees still scent the forest with there aroma
All the bullfrogs sound there cries
And the catfish still clean the bottom of the pond
Thank you for the memories
And with that I hope you see
That with this we must concede
Or never again will we be free
