but nobody wanted to know. They were afraid to say hello
or something like that, or even to pick up the phone -
I told my Mother who said she was sorry, had a cold ...
and couldn't come out. My brother was ill in his own right.
the rest of them just kept out of sight.
So this Big C doesn't rally many supporters. No one really wants to know
funny when death stands in the shadows. Everybody runs and hides.
It's not that there frightened of coming. They can't confront the big C
they don't know how to confront when one's ill, let alone if you die...
then your FREE!
So I'll continue my struggle ALONE, along with my shadow and me
and pray that with God's help he will set this BIG C free
