Without love
With no one to love the heart cannot fly,
Tell me you love me,
And I will soar with the eagles.
With no one to love the heart cannot sing,
Tell me you love me,
And I will give you Nessun Dorma.
Without love life is a dull affair,
Humdrum and empty,
For where is the soft hand to hold,
The sweet lips to kiss and the waist to
Wrap a fond arm around?
Without love where is the beauty,
Where is the joy in an empty bed,
Where is the soul-mate so long in
The coming?
Tell me you love me.
