I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Lyle Stood With Me One Day
I have a memory like an elephant to put it mildly.
I love to remember the past things that have occurred.
One of these is when Lyle stood by me one day.
In recollection, the pair were getting ready to go back home after being with my dad and I for a whole week.
It was a glorious time for the pair to be here with us.
Lyle stood by me one day on the day of their leaving.
He made me feel proud to be a man who loved people.
He made me feel so wanted and desired as a person to reach other people.
There was a joy that was felt by me on this particular day.
The sky was overcasts but the Lord wanted it this way.
I had the freedom to hug Lyle and his partner in life goodbye.
It was sad to see them go but they had to get back home.
It was a week that will always be remembered well.
I love the idea that we had a good time of meeting and sharing one another as we did.
A great happening for it was for Dad as well.
He had for a time gained two more sons in addition to the ones he had.
It was a time that will always be remembered and cherished.
I love time Lyle stood by me and made me feel wanted.
I do love you, Lyle, and remember what you did to help me.
