Poetic-Verses

'' The Common Thief ''

Some imitate to flatter,
It is the sincerest form,
That really doesn't matter,
To some it is the norm.

Same clothes or shoes,
Perhaps your looks,
Whatever you choose,
Be it paint or books.

At most they're sad,
Perhaps over-zealous,
A little mad,
Maybe even jealous.

But you'll get by,
Although annoyed,
They live their lie,
With you they've toyed.

The plagiarist,
Is a different breed,
They but exist,
Your work to bleed.

When they've done,
To the depths they lurk,
Their lie's then spun,
They steal your work,

What you've written,
They claim as theirs,
Those others smitten,
Are caught unawares.

Talentless scum,
Whose self-portrayal,
Is completely dumb,
It's a sick betrayal.

Their lack of shame,
Is beyond belief,
To give them their name,
