My Love
My Love
Written by Adam M. Snow
Time passes as night blooms,
again, I'm left to ponder.
The stars weeps,
but still I wonder,
what have become of me.
It is but convalescence I seek,
healing of this broken heart.
But my future's bleak
without a love of my own.
Where is she, my love,
the bearer of my heart;
the one to save me
from this world apart,
my life?
Am I not worthy
for this thing called 'love?'
Why does it elude me
this thing called 'my love.'
If I'm not meant to love
then let me be.
Let me wallow
in my self-pity.
