Mountains in my Mind
Mountains in my mind,
I set out to climb to the top,
of some great hill that I can't see,
or feel or know,
or barely believe,
I suppose there is no larger challenge
than to conquer a dream,
but there was snow,
and I wasn't prepared,
for what imagination proposed,
and I did fail on the side of that mountain.
There's nothing worse now than that fear,
I have of trying it again.
