Dark Woods
Woods so deep and
shadowy dark
Every tree covered with
hideous bark
Canopy creating such
heavy dark shade
Squelchy moss beneath
with nary a grass blade
Nowhere is there any
sign of sunlight
No way to tell whether
it's day or night
Is this place on God's
earth or in hell
From the looks of it
very difficult to tell
If one gets lost in this
garden of evil
Sure to have a dinner
with the devil
shadowy dark
Every tree covered with
hideous bark
Canopy creating such
heavy dark shade
Squelchy moss beneath
with nary a grass blade
Nowhere is there any
sign of sunlight
No way to tell whether
it's day or night
Is this place on God's
earth or in hell
From the looks of it
very difficult to tell
If one gets lost in this
garden of evil
Sure to have a dinner
with the devil
