Today's World
In today's paranoid world
where the terrorists abound
People get scared to death
at any unusual loud sound
Gone are the days when people
used to take a stroll in the night
Nowadays people are scared to
go out for a walk in broad daylight
A blip on the radar could be
a monster carrying a H-bomb
And turn this beautiful world of
ours suddenly into a huge tomb
God knows when the things will
change and there will be peace
And let us hope that this peace
is not the eternal kind of peace
