The Budding Dogwood Trees

About this same time every year is the memory of the dogwood trees.
It is a tree that has a special meaning for the Christians; in our world.
Before Jesus cursed the tree it was used as a cross.
Today it is all withered and misshapen though the flowers are most beautiful.
We have an array of trees but the dogwood trees are the most remembered.
There are two colors for the flowers upon the dogwood trees.
They are white and pink or reddish.
The inside of the flower is reminiscent of the crown of thorns Jesus wore.
The red places on the petals denote the blood that Jesus shed.
The white color flower shows the purity of Jesus.
While the reddish color shows affirmatively the blood Jesus shed.
Why not make this is a precious time for acknowledging the tree.
Seeing the misshapen trunk and the limbs all withered.
This was cursed so no other man would have to die on  a cross.
Praise the Lord for the wondrous working of the blood and the power that it has.
